Wills and Estates

It is important to have a Will. Without one your estate may be divided amongst those who you do not wish to benefit or in accordance with the Laws of Intestacy.

To ensure that your wishes about your assets are properly set out, our professional staff can attend to the preparation and execution of your Will.

Clients should obtain clear advice on the matters to be addressed in their Wills, including the appointment of executors, and the distribution of specific assets to beneficiaries.

Storage of Wills in our Adelaide Office is a service offered free of charge to clients.

Estate Administration

In addition, we are able to assist and advise in the administration of Estates, obtaining Probate, and the calling in and distribution of Assets. Where necessary, taxation advice should be sought. These issues can be quite complex.

As such, appointed Executors often require our assistance to guide them through the Estate administration process. This can be especially difficult in the circumstances of the death of a loved one or friend.

Our Solicitors are able to provide the necessary advice and services to remove the stress of estate administration and to provide assistance in the winding up of estates.

White Berman can also advise about contesting Wills, making Inheritance Claims, preparing Deeds of Arrangement and other matters relating to Deceased Estates [INHERITANCE CLAIMS].

Early and accurate advice can be essential in these matters.
